March Movie Madness Marathons Celebrate Oscar Season
BURBANK, Calif. -- February 28, 2006 -- Universal HD will be featuring men's and women's hockey from the 2006 Olympics throughout the month. Viewers will be able to re-live their favorite Olympic hockey moments every morning in March ? all in its native 1080i High Definition and 5.1 Dolby surround sound ? (Sundays through Thursdays 8:00am, Fridays 9:00am and Saturdays 6:00am (ET)).
March Movie Madness (Thursdays 9:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays 11:00pm, Sundays 9:00pm (ET)) brings High Definition Hollywood to viewers on Universal HD! It's Oscar season and we've got an all-star lineup of movies featuring Hollywood's most valuable players: Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Adrian Brody, Emma Thompson, Pierce Brosnan, Robert Redford, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sylvester Stallone, Viggo Mortensen, Danny DeVito, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Sutherland, and Linda Hamilton. Titles ranging from "The Pianist" to "Scarface" to "The Nutty Professor" give viewers both critically-acclaimed and box office-smash hits and make Universal HD the place to be when viewers are searching for films in high definition.

Universal HD has gone to the dogs with the Westminister Kennel Club Dog Show (Monday, 3/27 and Tuesday, 3/28, 7 :00pm (ET)). For all dog lovers out there, we're presenting The 130th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in native high definition, along with The Incredible Dog Challenge Semifinals and Championships. And although he's not exactly Westminster material, everyone's favorite St. Bernard kicks off each night in Beethoven's 4th and Beethoven's 5th.
Universal HD has the luck of the Irish with a St. Patrick's Day Double Feature (Friday, 3/17, 9:00pm ET)) with Far and Away (starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman) and The Jackal (starring Bruce Willis and Richard Gere).
