NEW YORK, March 13, 2006 -- In the first season of "Mind of Mencia," cultural spitfire Carlos Mencia takes on everyone from every background with his whip-smart humor and fearless persona. Released via COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment, "Mind of Mencia: Season One Uncensored " DVD arrives in stores nationwide on Tuesday, March 21 and will also be available at http://shop.comedycentral.com.

"Mind of Mencia: Season One Uncensored" DVD is a two-disc box set comprised of 12 extended and very uncensored episodes. The bonus material contains rock star Gene Simmons' dishing out advice on how to woo the ladies, the "Mencia Moments" segment in which Mencia shares his thoughts in a way that mocks desk-calendar daily truths, the "You Can Say Anything" segment of hilariously random man-on the-street interviews, series bloopers and outtakes.

Shot in the studio and on location, "Mind Of Mencia" is based on Mencia's unique point of view on the world including such topics as ethnic stereotypes, race relations, immigration, war, patriotism, capitalism and family with brutal honesty and unrelenting provocation. The show includes Mencia�s comments on pop culture and current events, man-on-the-street interviews, commercial parodies and interaction with the studio audience.

Executive producer Robert Morton's credits also include "The Chris Rock Show," "John Leguizamo�s FREAK" and "Drew Carey's Green Screen Show." Zoe Friedman and Gary S. Mann serve as executives in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
