Spike TV Comes Out Swinging with the Launch of Spike Mobile Service

Network to Deliver First-Ever Live Wireless Sporting Event

Amp'd Mobile Partners With Spike TV to Simulcast the Ultimate Fighting Championship's(R) 'Ultimate Fight Night(TM) Live' on April 6

LAS VEGAS, April 5 -- Spike TV, where men get more action, announced today the launch of Spike Mobile, extending its leading action programming across multiple screens to aggressively serve its core demographic of men ages 18 to 49. Throughout the year, Spike TV will offer mobile subscribers short form clips of action packed content designed for the two- inch screen experience via five pillars of content. What's On (Pros vs. Joes, Blade: The Series); Action (The Ultimate Fighter, Disorderly Conduct); Gaming (Game Head, Video Games Awards); Gags (MXC, Raising the Roofs) and Wheels (MuscleCar, Carpocalypse). This content will be available cross-carrier.

Kicking its way into Las Vegas with its new mobile platform, Spike TV has partnered with Amp'd Mobile and the Ultimate Fighting Championship(R) (UFC) to simulcast Ultimate Fight Night(TM) Live on Spike TV and Amp'd Mobile, live on April 6. The UFC's Ultimate Fight Night(TM) Live features some of the best mixed martial arts fighters in the world, directly to the handsets of Amp'd Mobile members live. The event is being held at The Joint in Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on April 6, 2006 at 8:00 pm EST.

During scheduled breaks of the telecast, the Spike Mobile simulcast will insert and air trailers of upcoming feature films from the following studios: Paramount Pictures, The Weinstein Company, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. Studios.

"When we say men 'Get More Action' on Spike TV, we mean it and our new wireless initiatives, as exemplified by our precedent-setting Ultimate Fighting Championship live simulcast on Amp'd April 6, not only delivers on that promise, but delivers it whenever and wherever men want it," said Kevin Kay, executive vice president and general manager, Spike TV. "Our male viewers are the same demographic that is most rapidly adopting new mobile technologies and we excited to introduce them to additional content as we continue to launch new action-oriented programming throughout the year."

Later this spring, Spike TV intends to announce additional cross-carrier deals for its programming content.
