"X-MEN" STARS IAN McKELLEN AND PATRICK STEWART HOST TWO EXCLUSIVE "X-MEN" SNEAK-PEEK EVENTS ON FOX

FOX Unveils Exclusive 7-Minute Preview Of "X-Men: The Last Stand" Thursday, May 11 World Broadcast Premiere of X2: X-MEN UNITED, With Another Bonus Sneak Peek of Newest "X-Men" Film, To Air Friday, May 19, On FOX

Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, two of the stars of the "X-Men" motion picture trilogy, usher in the summer movie season with a two-night "X-Men" sneak preview only on FOX. McKellen and Stewart star as rival mutant leaders Magneto and Xavier, respectively, in the blockbusters "X-Men" and "X2," and in the highly anticipated summer movie event "X-Men: The Last Stand," which opens worldwide May 26.

On Thursday, May 11 (8:30-8:37 PM ET/PT), McKellen will introduce an exclusive seven-minute preview of Twentieth Century Fox's upcoming "X-Men: The Last Stand." The special, which includes a sneak peek of the movie, is a must-see for fans of the blockbuster" X-Men" franchise. Check out never-before-seen clips featuring two characters new to the film franchise - Beast (Kelsey Grammer) and Angel (Ben Foster) - in addition to returning characters Storm (Halle Berry) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman).

As a bonus for "X-Men" fans, Stewart joins McKellen on Friday, May 19 (8:00-10:30 PM ET/PT) to host the World Broadcast Premiere of "X2" on FOX. Throughout the night, they will check in to introduce the newest mutant heroes and villains from "X-Men: The Last Stand."

In "X2," the X-Men are faced with increasing discrimination after an unforeseen enemy launches a devastating attack, causing public outcry and renewed support for the Mutant Registration Act. William Stryker (Brian Cox) puts into motion a plan to eradicate the mutants and begins an offensive on the X-Men. Magneto (McKellen) and Xavier (Stewart) form an unexpected alliance, and with the fates of mankind and mutantkind in their hands, the X-Men face their most dangerous mission ever!

In the upcoming theatrical release "X-Men: The Last Stand," a "cure" for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, although it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Xavier (Stewart), who preaches tolerance, and Magneto (McKellen), who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test - triggering the war to end all wars. "X-Men: The Last Stand" arrives in theaters May 26.
