New York, NY May 11, 2006 � MTV: Music Television announced today the new season of �The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat� on Monday, May 29th at 10:00PM (ET/PT). As the Challenge heads down under to sunny Australia, a dramatic new twist to the game finds 12 seasoned Real World and Road Rules alumni competing with 12 eager new players who�ve never been on any show before�the Fresh Meat. Paired up in teams (one Alumni with one Fresh Meat competitor), the duos must work together to survive against a house full of conniving personalities, a series of grueling challenges, and a mysterious elimination process called Exile if they want to make it to the end and claim the largest grand prize in the history of the show.
Pro BMX jumper TJ Lavin returns to host and lead the teams through very physically demanding challenges.
Additionally, it was announced today that the casting special �The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat� premieres on Monday, May 22nd at 10:30PM (ET/PT).
MTV Overdrive will feature exclusive extended casting profiles of your favorite alumni and get to know your �Fresh Meat� cast members immediately following the casting special on Monday, May 22nd. Get to know all 24 cast members, alumni and the new kids; and take a look back at the alumni to find out what they�re up to now. Also on MTV Overdrive get Fresh Meat sneak peeks of the premiere episode, plus the series trailer. Plus, �Fresh Meat: The After Show,� an after-party featuring interviews with Fresh Meat Cast members, returns for another fabulous season. After watching an episode of Fresh Meat, viewers can continue to feed their Challenge addiction with host Blair Herter, former Road Rules (The Quest) personality, as he gets his guests to spill the dirt without holding anything back.
