TV Land Scores Most Watched May Ever In Prime
Network Boasts Double-Digit Gains
New York, NY, May 31, 2006 � Bolstered by its winning combination of classic TV and original programming, TV Land scored its most-watched May ever in primetime in channel history. TV Land finished the month with double digit gains in rating and delivery among its core demo of Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research (5/1/06-5/28/06).
TV Land�s primetime line-up boasted increases for the network, averaging a 0.4/358,000 among Adults 25-54, up +33% in rating and +13% in delivery over last year. The network averaged 861,000 total viewers, an +8% lift over last year.
In total programming day, TV Land posted a 0.3/266,000 among Adults 25-54. Among total viewers, the network attracted an average of 580,000, up +8% over last year.
Now seen in over 85 million U.S. homes, TV Land�s program mix features popular dramas, sitcoms, westerns, Retromercials and a TV-referential interstitial environment, all programmed with a specific audience in mind � the first generation of Americans to grow up watching television and features all-time Classic hits like All in the Family, I Love Lucy, The Andy Griffith Show, and Bonanza.
