A PERFECT SUMMER DAY LEADS TO THE PERFECT SUMMER PRANK WHEN STUDENTS GET SCHOOLED ON ABC FAMILY THURSDAY, AUGUST 17

Surprise appearance by Jesse McCartney

Burbank, CA (July 28, 2006) Featuring platinum selling artist and acclaimed actor Jesse McCartney, SCHOOLED, a back-to-school special sponsored by OfficeMax, will air on ABC Family Thursday, August 17 (7:00 8:00 p.m. ET/PT). Summer vacations are filled with memorable experiences; and this year is no exception for a group of Tuckahoe Middle/High School students who get the surprise of their life in a summer event that they will never forget. ABC Family has teamed up with OfficeMax, Hollywood Records and Google to create a fun back-to-school special that helps one group of students kick off their school year in style.

Just when they thought they were in the clear The teachers and principal of Tuckahoe Middle/High School along with several willing parents convince a group of students that they must come back during their summer break to take a grueling, last minute aptitude test in order to graduate to the next grade. Throughout the entire process, the parents and students were secretly filmed as the drama unfolded.

At the height of their stress, while students struggled with an extraordinarily difficult oral test as well as a test packet as thick as a phonebook, the gymnasium divider is pulled back to reveal Jesse McCartney on stage with his band -- as he declares Youve been SCHOOLED!!... The shocked students are then given a private concert with music from his upcoming album, Right Where You Want Me scheduled to be released on September 19. In addition to the once in a lifetime private concert the students also receive brand-new back-to-school gear that Jesse personally picked out for them, compliments of OfficeMax. OfficeMax also donated $80,000. to the school to help offset budget cuts effecting school programs and facilities.
