CBS Is First in Adults 25-54 for the Seventh Straight Week

CBS Has Five of the Top 10 Programs

"Big Brother: All-Stars" Continues its Winning Ways with the Tuesday and Sunday Editions Hitting Summer High Ratings in Viewers and Key Demos While the Thursday Edition Has Its Most Watched Episode

"60 Minutes" Posts Its Best Delivery of the Summer in Viewers and Key Demographics

CBS extended its summer winning streak to 12 weeks (every week of the summer), while its adult 25-54 winning streak hit seven weeks as the Network commanded five of the top 10 programs in the week ending Aug. 20, week 12 of the 2006 summer season.

BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY and SUNDAY both hit summer high ratings in viewers and key demographics while the Thursday edition placed first in all categories for the seventh consecutive week and delivering its largest audience for the night this summer. 60 MINUTES also delivered its best delivery of the summer in viewers and key demographics.

Summer-to-date, CBS is first in viewers and adults 25-54 and tied for second in adults 18-49.

For the week in viewers, CBS (7.53m) topped NBC (6.48m), FOX (6.32m) and ABC (5.76m). Summer-to-date in viewers, CBS (7.53m) leads NBC (6.44m), FOX (5.88m), ABC (5.39m), UPN (2.03m) and WB (1.84m) summer-to-date.

For the week in households, CBS (5.0/09) was +16% ahead of NBC (4.3/08), +22% ahead of FOX (4.1/07) and +28% ahead of ABC (3.9/07). Summer-to-date, CBS (5.1/09) leads NBC (4.3/08) by +19%, FOX (3.8/07) by +34% and ABC (3.7/07) by +38%.

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.3/07, -0.2 behind FOX). Summer-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (2.7/08) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.1/07, with NBC and -0.3 behind FOX).

-- BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS TUESDAY finished first in adults 25-54 (3.5/11), adults 18-49 (3.1/10), adults 18-34 (2.9/10) and second in households (5.0/09, -0.1 behind FOX) and viewers (7.78m, -0.01m behind FOX). This is the fifth consecutive week BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS TUESDAY won its time slot in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, fourth consecutive week in adults 18-34. This is the best delivery of BIG BROTHER ALL-STARS TUESDAY in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

-- BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS THURSDAY won its 8PM time slot in households (5.0/09), viewers (7.72m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10), adults 18-49 (2.7/09) and adults 18-34 (2.5/09), all for the seventh consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER ALL-STARS THURSDAY was up +6% in households (from 4.7/09), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/09), even in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and added +490,000 viewers (from 6.96m, +7%). This is BIG BROTHER ALL-STARS's best Thursday delivery in households and viewers.

-- BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS SUNDAY (8:04-9:04 PM) won the 8:00PM time period in households (5.3/09), viewers (8.33m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09), adults 18-49 (2.9/08) and adults 18-34 (2.6/08). This is BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS SUNDAY's best delivery to date in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. This is the third consecutive week BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS SUNDAY posted or matched series highs in these key measures.

? ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA TUESDAY (4.0/07, 6.51m) was second in viewers, adults 25-54 (3.5/09), adults 18-49 (2.9/08) and adults 18-34 (2.4/07).
