TBS is taking its "very funny" programming into the digital world through two new broadband destinations: veryfunnyads.com, slated to become one of the largest online collections of funny commercials from around the world, and Laugh Lab, a treasure trove of original comic material available through tbs.com and featuring stand-up from top-name comedians and broadband encore presentations of TBS�s much-anticipated original series My Boys and 10 Items or Less, announced Steve Koonin, executive vice president and chief operating officer for TBS and TNT. TBS�s veryfunnyads.com will launch in conjunction with a new one-hour World�s Funniest Commercials special premiering Wednesday, August 23, while Laugh Lab is slated to launch this fall.

"While TBS�s network strategy is to focus on smart, relatable storytelling as expressed through high-quality scripted comedy series, our broadband strategy is to provide viewers with access to comedy in its many forms, from stand-up comedy to the world�s funniest commercials to broadband presentations of our original series," said Koonin. "Through veryfunnyads.com and Laugh Lab, we�ll be able to provide broadband users with a dynamic assortment of comic material guaranteed to keep them laughing non-stop."

In addition to stand-up comedy and broadband presentations of its original series, TBS�s Laugh Lab will also feature personalized customization for viewers; a video blog that features viral videos and commentary; a showplace for user-generated content; and a collection of TBS�s memorable Department of Humor Analysis shorts, featuring John Cleese.

The following is a rundown of the broadband content TBS is planning to offer:

Very Funny Ads: Through veryfunnyads.com, comedy fans can view some of the cleverest and most humorous television commercials ever to tickle a funny bone, many available for the first time ever to U.S. viewers. Visitors can email their friends links to their favorite commercials, offer feedback and even suggest additional ads for inclusion. In the future, veryfunnyads.com will continue to collect and make available new ads, inviting fans to come back frequently to see what�s new. Veryfunnyads.com launches in conjunction with World�s Funniest Commercials, a one-hour TBS special hosted by Kevin Nealon and his wife, actress-comedian Susan Yeagley. The show is set to premiere on TBS Wednesday, August 23, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) and will feature ads from such countries as Sweden, Australia, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, The Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom, to name a few.

The Best of Stand-Up Comedy: Through the Laugh Lab, TBS will offer viewers stand-up from more than 80 top comedians, including such notables as Jeff Garlin, Aisha Tyler, George Wallace, Sebastian, Tammy Pescatelli and TBS�s own Paul Gilmartin. The comedy sets are being taped at major clubs and events around the country and will presented in a variety of formats, from 60-second clips to full-length specials.

My Boys and 10 Items or Less On Broadband: Following the premiere of each episode of TBS�s eagerly anticipated scripted original series My Boys and 10 Items or Less, broadband users can go to Laugh Lab to watch them in their entirety, as well as catch exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes clips.

MyTBS: This customization tool allows the Laugh Lab to serve up video clips that are tailored to each viewer�s tastes, as well as recommend other funny stuff the viewer might like.

Funny or Not? This showplace for user-generated content invites comedy fans to upload their own comic video projects for all to see, enjoy and rate.

Very Funny VLOG: This video blog features the best of funny viral videos from the Web, along with comic commentary from TBS�s bloggers.

Daily Laugh Break: Comedy lovers can get their daily laugh fix by having a funny clip of the day sent directly to their computer, cell phone or other receiving device.

Department of Humor Analysis: TBS�s Department of Humor Analysis shorts, starring John Cleese, will be available for viewing through Laugh Lab.
