USA CONTINUES WINNING STREAK AS #1

NEW YORK, NY � August 22, 2006 � USA continued its winning streak in the eighth week of 3Q06, ranking as the #1 network in basic cable prime among all key demos with a 2.4 household rating and an average of 0.5 million P18-34, 1.3 million P18-49, 1.3 million P25-54, and 2.8 million total viewers.

USA's original series again held up strong against competition on their respective nights with WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW on Monday, MONK and PSYCH winning Friday night again, and THE 4400 and THE DEAD ZONE as the top two original series on Sunday.

� Led by WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, USA was the #1 entertainment network in basic cable prime for Monday night among P18-34 (0.9 million), P18-49 (2.0 million), P25-54 (1.9 million), and total viewers (4.2 million).

� USA's MONK and PSYCH were once again the top two programs in basic cable prime on Friday, with MONK taking the #1 spot among households and total viewers and PSYCH ranking #1 among P18-49 and P25-54. MONK and PSYCH were the only programs to average over two million P25-54 viewers in Friday prime.

� USA was by far the #1 network in basic cable prime on Friday among households (3.5 rating), P18-49 (1.7 million), P25-54 (1.9 million), and total viewers (4.3 million). In the 9p hour, USA ranked 2nd among all television networks behind only CBS. In the 10p hour USA was ahead of all broadcast and cable networks except ABC among P25-54.

� On Sunday night, USA's THE 4400 and THE DEAD ZONE ranked as the top two original series telecasts with an average of 1.7 million and 1.5 million P25-54 respectively.

USA Network surpassed its ratings for the same week last year (8/15-8/21/05) in all key demos, up 7% in households, up 8% in P18-34 delivery, up 10% in P18-49 delivery, up 13% in P25-54 delivery, and up 12% among total viewers (Live+SD vs. pre-DVR data).
