NEW YORK, August 23, 2006 "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" travels to the heart of America's most hotly contested swing state to cover the Midterm elections. "Battlefield Ohio: 'The Daily Show's' Midwest Midterm Midtacular" will be taped at the Roy Bowen Theatre at the Ohio State University and will air nightly at 11:00 p.m. from Monday, October 30 through Thursday, November 2. Host Jon Stewart will be joined by his team of awardseeking commentators and correspondents as they seek to answer the ageold question: Just what the hell is a buckeye?

This marks the fifth time the series has made a road tripPhiladelphia and Los Angeles (2000) Washington, D.C. Also, "The Daily Show" correspondents Dan Bakkedahl, Samantha Bee, Jason Jones and John Oliver will provide political commentary from various locations in and around Ohio to give viewers a unique perspective that only a true outsider can provide. For tickets to any of the four broadcasts at Ohio State University, viewers can send requests to osutickets@thedailyshow.com. .
