THE FAMOUS FUNERAL HOME FINDS A NEW HOME ON BRAVO ON MONDAY NIGHTS WITH TWO BACK TO BACK AIRINGS -- BEGINNING MONDAY, OCTOBER 2 AT 9:00 PM ET/PT
NEW YORK - September 5, 2006 - Bravo plays pallbearer with the launch of "Six Feet Under," the critically acclaimed Emmy�-winning and Golden Globe�-winning drama series, beginning with the pilot episode on Monday, October 2, 2006 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. Bravo will premiere all five seasons of "Six Feet Under," which focuses on the cathartic journey of the extended Fisher family, whose personal trials and tribulations are played out against the solemn backdrop of an independent funeral home in Los Angeles. The "Six Feet Under" multi-season run on Bravo will consist of 63 episodes, with each episode airing in a one-hour and fifteen-minute block. Two new back-to-back episodes will premiere every Monday night at 9:00 and 10:15 PM ET/PT.
On Monday, October 2, from 9:00 to 10:15 PM ET/PT, Bravo will kick off the "Six Feet Under" series with the premiere pilot episode, which features Nathaniel Fisher, the father and owner of the Fisher and Sons Funeral Home, who is killed when a municipal bus broadsides his new hearse on Christmas Eve. The second episode, entitled "The Will," will immediately follow the pilot on October 2 and air from 10:15 PM to 11:30 PM ET/PT.

One of TV's most acclaimed drama series, "Six Feet Under" was created and executive produced by the Oscar�-winning writer of American Beauty, Alan Ball (also an Emmy�-winner for this show). "Six Feet Under" was nominated for two 2004 Golden Globes�, with Frances Conroy winning for Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama, and won two 2004 Screen Actors Guild Awards (Conroy and the ensemble cast). The show has received 46 Primetime Emmy� nominations and won nine times, and has been nominated for eight Golden Globes�, winning three.
