TAKE THAT, TABLOIDS! COMEDY CENTRAL RENEWS "THE SHOWBIZ SHOW WITH DAVID SPADE" FOR A THIRD SEASON

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Season To Consist Of 13 Episodes Beginning February 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NEW YORK, September 28, 2006 -- David Spade made his googly-eye dolls, "There I Said It" segments and celebrity sit-downs a must-see for viewers everywhere and they're set to get even more from the man who dares to speak what others are too afraid to say. COMEDY CENTRAL has ordered a third season of the weekly satire, "The Showbiz Show with David Spade," it was announced today by Lauren Corrao, executive vice president, original programming and development, COMEDY CENTRAL. The third season of "The Showbiz Show with David Spade" will premiere in February 2007 and consist of 13 episodes.

"'The Showbiz Show' found its voice during the second season and really hit its stride to turn into appointment viewing for our celeb-crazed culture," said Corrao. "Our viewers, including celebrities themselves, tune-in to 'Showbiz' each week to get David's incomparable take on the latest Hollywood gossip, scandals and self-obsession."

"I am stoked to be back for the third season," said Spade. "I love this show. I want to get back on- the-air as quickly as possible, so that we don't miss out. There is too much good stuff going on right now in Hollywood; we have to catch up."

"The Showbiz Show with David Spade" is a half-hour, topical, comedy series about Hollywood, celebrity and the entertainment industry. "The Showbiz Show" calls it like it sees it, cutting through the industry hype with a host who knows all about the business from the inside and provides the tell-it-like-it-is voice of comedy that is desperately needed in today's celebrity-obsessed world.

"The Showbiz Show" highlights all of Hollywood's self-importance and hypocrisy by using actual footage, clips and on-location field pieces, along with celebrity guests and comic personalities who appear as critics and correspondents. The second season included appearances by Jessica Alba, Jack Black, Kristin Cavalleri, Sean Hayes, Jon Heder, Michele Rodriguez and Adam Sandler, among others.

Credits for "The Showbiz Show with David Spade" include Spade, Eddie Feldmann (Emmy Award-winning writer and producer for "Dennis Miller Live"), Pariah's Gavin Polone and the Brillstein-Grey Company's Peter Traugott and Marc Gurvitz as executive producers. Scott Landsman serves as the executive in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

COMEDY CENTRAL, the only all-comedy network, currently is seen in more than 88 million homes nationwide. COMEDY CENTRAL is owned by Comedy Partners, a wholly-owned division of Viacom Inc.'s (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B) MTV Networks. COMEDY CENTRAL is a registered trademark of Comedy Partners.
