AMERICAS MOST WANTED ASKS VIEWERS FOR HELP IN PROFILING UNKNOWN ASSAILANT SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18, ON FOX

AMW to Turn Viewers Into Criminal Profilers In Unique Crime-Fighting Experiment

For 20 seasons, FOXs AMERICAS MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK has presented law enforcements toughest cases and asked viewers to submit their tips. The success rate has been phenomenal: to date, 911 fugitives have been taken down as a result of AMW viewer tips, and 51 missing children safely returned home. On Saturday, Nov. 18 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, AMW will ask its viewers to go beyond anything theyve done before. To help unmask and capture an elusive serial sexual predator, AMW will give viewers the tools to become criminal profilers, asking them to create and submit their own psychological profiles of the suspect for review by law enforcement. The profiles will be created from special case file documents available for downloading at the AMERICAS MOST WANTED website, www.amw.com.

Clues gathered by police thus far point to the suspect as a sick individual with an unusual fetish: wedding dresses. In most of the incidents, cops say the attacker targeted women advertising bridal gowns for sale. While it appears the attacker knew a lot about his victims before targeting them, the police know a lot about the attacker, too. Victims describe him as an older man with a red face, oily hair and stiffness in his right hand. Many of the women who endured attacks say he was dressed in outdated clothing from the 1970s.

Viewers will be able to add their own notes to these and other clues contained in the case file documents and on AMWs broadcast, enabling them to draw their own conclusions about the attackers motivation and methods. AMW will forward the viewer profiles to investigators working the case, in hopes that viewers ideas will open up new avenues in the investigation.

The case file documents and more information about the investigation can be found online at http://amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=39229.

AMERICAS MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK, currently in its 20th season, is produced by STF Productions, Inc. and Lance Heflin is executive producer.
