The N Spreads Holiday Cheer With The �Give Some, Get Some Giveaway� Beginning November 27

The Network To Auction Off Exclusive Items From Its Hit Series Beyond The Break, Instant Star, Degrassi And South Of Nowhere On The-N.Com To Benefit Four National Charities

NEW YORK, November 21, 2006 � In the spirit of the holidays, The N, the nighttime network for teens, will host the �Give Some, Get Some Giveaway,� a series of new, online auctions in which fans can �give some� by bidding on items from the network�s hit series, and �get some� by entering for a chance to win cool prizes. The �Giveaway� will take place for four consecutive weeks on www.the-n.com beginning Monday, November 27 through Sunday, December 24 and will feature items culled from the network�s hit series including, Beyond the Break, Instant Star, Degrassi: The Next Generation and South of Nowhere. All money raised from The N�s auctions will be donated to four deserving charities across the country.

Each week, The N will auction exclusive items from four network series during the �Giveaway.� Teens can go online to the-n.com to bid on a new item every night from Monday through Thursday beginning at 6:00 p.m. (ET). The N will televise the episode featuring the day�s auction item at 9:00 p.m. (ET). The one-of-a-kind auction items include clothing worn by celebrity cast members, autographed scripts and props from the network series. Additionally teens can go online and enter to win a new prize every weekend from Friday through Sunday.

The �Give Some, Get Some Giveaway� auctions are as follows:

Monday, November 27 � Thursday, November 30 � Beyond the Break

Charity: Oceana, a nonprofit organization that campaigns to protect and restore the world�s oceans.

Auction items include: Lacey�s surfboard, Kai and Birdie�s surfing competition shirts, Lacey�s bikini and four autographed scripts.

Monday, December 4 � Thursday, December 7 � Instant Star

Charity: The Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a difference for seriously ill children and their families.

Auction items include: Jude�s silver space suit, Spiederman�s red disco suit, Jamie�s army jacket, Jude�s performance dress and four autographed scripts.

Monday, December 11 � Thursday, December 14 � Degrassi

Charity: Food Bank for New York City, a nonprofit whose mission is to end hunger by organizing food, information and support for community survival and dignity.

Auction items include: Jimmy�s designed T-shirt, Downtown Sasquatch CDs, Manny�s spirit squad uniform, Sean�s newspaper article and four autographed scripts.

Monday, December 18 � Thursday, December 21 � South of Nowhere

Charity: My Friend's Place, a nonprofit that assists and inspires homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.

Auction items include: Aiden�s jeans, Ashley�s scrapbook, the injured teddy bear, Ashley and Spencer prom invitation and four autographed scripts.
