DICK CLARKS NEW YEARS ROCKIN EVE 2007 ADDS NEW YORK PARTY ELEMENTS FOR FIRST TIME IN SHOW HISTORY WITH PERFORMANCES BY RIHANNA, LUDACRIS AND KT TUNSTALL FROM THE NOKIA THEATRE IN NEW YORK

From the Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York, stunning pop star Rihanna will lead the festivities and perform, along with fellow music sensations Ludacris and KT Tunstall, as they join the all-star roster of talent already announced for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2007, airing Sunday, December 31 on the ABC Television Network. This will mark the first time the annual special has expanded its party coverage to New York, in addition to Hollywood. With these added artists, the special will feature a record-setting 19 performances scheduled from New York and Hollywood, including Christina Aguilera, Rascal Flatts and the cast of Jersey Boys performing from the shows exclusive stage at Military Island in Times Square, and Fergie hosting the Hollywood party and performing with Natasha Bedingfield, Meat Loaf and RBD. The three and a half hours of special programming will be hosted by Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest, with street coverage from Marysol Castro, Good Morning America Weekends weather and features correspondent.

Airtimes are:

Dick Clarks Primetime New Years Rockin Eve 2007 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET)

2006 is truly becoming the year of Chris Ludacris Bridges. His album Release Therapy recently went platinum, and his single Money Maker has spent over a month at #1 on the Billboard Pop and Hip-Hop/R&B charts. Ludacris talents also extend beyond music, where he has received critical acclaim for his acting in the Oscar winning film Crash and Oscar-nominated Hustle & Flow.

At age 18, Rihanna has already achieved what most people only dream of being an internationally acclaimed songstress and the newest face of CoverGirl. Rihanna broke into the music scene in 2005 with her debut album, Music of the Sun, and shortly thereafter garnered millions of fans with her platinum second album, A Girl Like Me, featuring the hit songs S.O.S and Unfaithful, both of which helped establish her among todays top artists. Her latest single, Break It Off, is currently in the pop charts Top 20 and bulleting up the charts.

KT Tunstalls Eye to the Telescope album has already sold over 1 million copies in the U.S and has exceeded 3.5 million copies worldwide. Tunstall just earned her first Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal performance for her pop-blues kick-off single, Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, which was an instant hit and has become one of the years most durable radio and video hits. The follow-up smash, Suddenly I See, is now in the Top Ten in Hot AC airplay.

In addition to hosting New York party segments for Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve 2007 at the Nokia Theatre Times Square, Nokia will welcome the New Year in unique style -- by connecting millions of music lovers from around the world as they count down the final minutes of 2006 on a global television and internet broadcast. Nokia New Years Eve will stretch across five continents, featuring a number of international music performers as it travels from east to west, starting in Hong Kong's Ocean Terminal, followed by Mumbai's Andheri Stadium, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro and rounding off the night in New York.

The specials are presentations of dick clark productions, inc. Dick Clark, Ryan Seacrest and Allen Shapiro are the executive producers. Larry Klein produces and Barry Glazer directs. Writers are Barry Adelman and Fred Bronson. Production designer is Bruce Ryan. Talent producer is Carla Patterson. Bob Bardo is executive in charge of Production.
