All Brand New Episodes of Crank Yankers and Celebrity Deathmatch to Premiere February 9th Beginning at 10 PM ET / Pt on MTV2
The formerly Comedy Central-based "Yankers" will air eight new episodes on MTV2 while "Deathmatch" will return for a sixth season.

New York, NY � January 11, 2007 � Beginning Friday, February 9th, MTV2 will premiere completely brand new episodes of Crank Yankers and Celebrity Deathmatch as part of the channel�s animation block, Sic� Emation, beginning at 10 PM and 10:30 PM ET / PT respectively. Set for eight episodes each, MTV2 revamps Crank Yankers, the hysterical, critically acclaimed puppet prank call series that originally premiered on Comedy Central in 2002, and Celebrity Deathmatch, the ultimate celebrity face-off featuring all brand new, epic and bloodier clay battles for its 6th glorious and gory season.

Crank Yankers � Premieres on MTV2 at 10 PM on February 9th

Crank Yankers is produced by Jackhole Industries (The Man Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Andy Milonakis Show), the production entity comprised of Jimmy Kimmel, Daniel Kellison, and Adam Carolla. The new season brings back past show regulars including Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla, Jim Florentine, Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, Robert Smigel and Sarah Silverman. This new season also features guest celebrity voice appearances including Lil Jon, Good Charlotte, Andy Milonakis, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, Chamillionaire, and Nick Cannon. The puppets are designed by Funny Garbage, and the new season features a new theme song by Rhymefest. Crank Yankers is executive produced by Jimmy Kimmel, Daniel Kellison, and Adam Carolla. Tony DiSanto and George McTeague serve as the Production Executives on the show for MTV2.

Celebrity Deathmatch - Premieres on MTV2 at 10:30 PM on February 9th

The fight returns as the clay alter egos of the world�s most famous celebrities face off in �Celebrity Deathmatch.� First made popular on sister network MTV, the series has taken on a new life as MTV2 unleashes a whole new set of musicians, actors, sports figures and movie stars in no holds barred battles to the death.
