THE CW GIVES "EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS" FULL-SEASON ORDER FOR THE 2007-2008 SEASON

January 19, 2007 (Pasadena, California) ?? The CW gave the critically acclaimed comedy "Everybody Hates Chris" an early full-season order for the 2007-2008 broadcast season, it was announced today by Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, The CW, during the network's Winter Press Tour session at the Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, California.

"Under the creative guidance of Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi and performances from an incredibly talented cast, 'Everybody Hates Chris' has consistently proven itself to be one of the best comedies on television," said Ostroff. "Producing one great episode after another, this is a show that we want viewers to associate with The CW. We couldn't be happier to bring it back for another season."

Announcement of The CW's Fall 2007 Schedule, including days and time periods for all of its series, will take place at the network's Upfront presentation in May.

"Everybody Hates Chris" is inspired by comedian Chris Rock's childhood experiences. Rock narrates this hilarious, touching story of a teenager growing up the eldest of three children in Brooklyn, New York, during the early 1980s. The series currently airs Mondays (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET) on The CW.

"Everybody Hates Chris" has earned wide critical recognition and garnered Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Series - Comedy, a People's Choice nomination for Favorite New Television Comedy, three Family Friendly Programming Awards and four Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Comedy. The series was also nominated for eight NAACP Image Awards this year, more than any other series.

The series stars Tyler James Williams ("Unaccompanied Minors") as Chris, Terry Crews ("The Longest Yard") as Julius, Tichina Arnold ("Martin") as Rochelle, Tequan Richmond ("Ray") as Drew, Imani Hakim as Tonya and Vincent Martella ("Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo") as Greg.

Co-creator and narrator Chris Rock ("Head of State"), co-creator and writer Ali LeRoi ("Head of State"), Michael Rotenberg ("King of the Hill") and Dave Becky ("Lucky Louie") are executive producers. "Everybody Hates Chris" is a production of CBS Paramount Network Television Inc. in association with Chris Rock Enterprises, Inc. and 3 Arts Entertainment.
