Chicago, IL-March 12, 2007--NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution has sold its upcoming talk show with Steve Wilkos in more than 85% of the U.S. for its fall 2007 launch, it was announced today by Barry Wallach, President, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

The nationally syndicated daily talk show, which is hosted by Steve Wilkos, the highly recognizable former U.S. Marine, Chicago police officer and daytime TV veteran, has been sold to stations from many of the nation's leading broadcast groups, including Tribune, Sinclair, Hearst-Argyle, Fox, Gannett and Sunbeam. Recently added markets include WLVI-TV Boston, WATL-TV Atlanta, KUTP-TV Phoenix, WFTC-TV Minneapolis and WKCF-TV Orlando.

It was previously announced that the show had been sold to Tribune and Sinclair broadcast stations in the nation's top markets, including WPIX-TV New York, KTLA-TV Los Angeles, WGN-TV Chicago, WPHL-TV Philadelphia, WTTA-TV Tampa, WPGH-TV Pittsburgh, WNUV-TV Baltimore and WLFL-TV Raleigh.

"Steve has been on television for more than a decade, which has made him extremely recognizable and already a proven success with the daytime audience," says Wallach. "Local broadcasters are excited to add Steve's show in the fall, as it will be a perfect compliment to their current lineups."

Wilkos' show will be taped in front of a live studio audience at WMAQ-TV Chicago, home of "The Jerry Springer Show." Richard Dominick, who is also executive producer of "The Jerry Springer Show" and the upcoming "The Springer Hustle" on VH1, will serve as executive producer of Wilkos' yet-to-be-titled talk show.

A native of Chicago, Wilkos served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps before joining the Chicago Police Department. For nearly 12 years, Wilkos kept the streets of Chicago's volatile 14th District (Shakespeare) safe, while working during his off hours on "The Jerry Springer Show." He retired from the Chicago police force in 2002, devoting his full time to television.
