CBS Orders Second Season of Original Web Series "Inturn 2"

CBS ORDERS SECOND SEASON OF ORIGINAL WEB SERIES "INTURN 2"

Accepting Audition Tapes Now At CBS.com

CBS has ordered a second season of the original web series "INTURN," in which nine young hopefuls will get another chance to go through weeks of challenges and drama at AS THE WORLD TURNS boot camp to fulfill their dreams of winning a role on the long-running series. INTURN 2, an original web-based reality show where the ultimate prize is a 13-week contract role on the CBS Daytime drama AS THE WORLD TURNS, is being brought back for another run after last summer's highly successful INTURN on CBS.com. Currently, potential contestants can go to www.cbs.com/daytime to find instructions on submitting audition tapes.

Internet users will be able to watch a new episode of INTURN 2 on CBS.com two days a week for eight weeks with a total of 16 episodes. This season, the series will follow nine participants as they move in together and undergo a series of challenges, such as screen tests, cold readings and awkward prop challenges, that will ultimately lead to six contestants being voted out by a group of judges. Viewers across America will then have a chance to vote online for their favorite "character," ultimately selecting the newest cast member on AS THE WORLD TURNS.

AS THE WORLD TURNS actors will participate as judges in challenges and offer advice to the contestants.

INTURN 2 was conceived as a companion show to AS THE WORLD TURNS and is executive produced by Christopher Goutman, also executive producer of the daytime drama.

AS THE WORLD TURNS, the recipient of 16 Daytime Emmy Award nominations in 2007, is a Procter & Gamble Production and tapes in Brooklyn, New York. The show can be seen weekdays on the CBS Television Network (check local listings).
