Hfpa Announces Timetable for 'The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards'
The awards will be telecast Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 8-11 PM (EST) live from the Beverly Hilton on NBC.

HFPA ANNOUNCES TIMETABLE FOR 'THE 65TH ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS'

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - April 16, 2007 - Philip Berk, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, announced the timetable for "The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards" to be telecast Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 8-11 PM (EST) live from the Beverly Hilton on NBC.

Key dates are as follows:

October 18, 2007 (Thursday) - Final screening date for Television entries

October 19, 2007 (Friday) - Final date for press conferences for Television entries

November 9, 2007 (Friday) - Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms

November 14, 2007 (Friday) 9 a.m. - Cecil B. DeMille/Miss Golden Globe Announcement

November 30, 2007 (Friday) - Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members

December 5, 2007 (Wednesday) - Final screening date for Motion Pictures

December 6, 2007 (Thursday) - Final date for Motion Picture press conferences

December 10, 2007 (Monday) - Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots

December 13, 2007 (Thursday) - 5:00 a.m. Nomination announcement of the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards

December 14, 2007 (Friday) - Deadline for receipt of media credential applications

December 26, 2007 (Wednesday) - Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members

January 2, 2008 (Wednesday) - Deadline for receipt of publicist credential applications

January 9, 2008 (Wednesday) - Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of final ballots

January 13, 2008 (Sunday) - Presentation of "The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards" Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST

"The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards" will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The special will be produced by dick clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
