GSN'S 'Camouflage' Premiered on GSN July 2
Viewers 'Get In The Game' by Participating Through Interactive Online Game
In Real Time or by Playing Mini-Game Anytime at GSN.com
SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 14 -- GSN's newest game show is
a hidden word challenge tough enough for even the savviest word sleuths.
CAMOUFLAGE airs regularly weeknights at 7:00 and 7:30 PM and made its debut
Monday, July 2. The show is a Disney's Buena Vista Production and is hosted
by Roger Lodge.
CAMOUFLAGE is a fast-paced game show of word puzzles with crossword
type clues. Contestants are shown a slew of randomly arranged letters and
they must find the word or phrase answering the clue hidden among the
puzzle's decoy letters. As decoy letters drop from the puzzle, so does the
point value of the answer, so players must be quick to buzz in.
Viewers can sharpen their word search skills anytime with GSN's online
offerings which include CAMOUFLAGE iTV applications and a CAMOUFLAGE
mini-game.
"We strive to give GSN viewers a complete interactive experience,"
commented Senior Vice President of Digital Media and Interactive
Entertainment, John P. Roberts. "The CAMOUFLAGE mini-game is fun and easy
to play even if you only have a few minutes to unwind, and the experience
of playing along with the show through the interactive game is so
compelling and fun we know our CAMOUFLAGE fans will come back to play again
and again."
By logging on to GSN.com iTV viewers can take part in all the
CAMOUFLAGE action in real time. iTV users play along with the on-air game
and rack up points just like the contestants. A bar appears on their
computer screen with the same letter puzzle that the contestants are
tackling on-air. By clicking on the correct letters, players drop them into
a line to spell out the correct answer. iTV users also have access to
exclusive bonus puzzles, polls and leaderboard.
