Since the pioneering reality series debuted in 1989, COPS has consistently outperformed its competition and has cemented its place in history as one of the longest-running primetime entertainment programs. The Emmy Award-nominated COPS maintains its position as the No. 1 show among Adults 18-49 Saturdays (8:00-8:30 and 8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

As COPS celebrates its 20th season, viewers should fasten their seat belts for a jaw-dropping ride down memory lane, featuring classic COPS car chases, super-inebriated suspects, sizzling Tasers, disheartening domestics, problematic perps and gutsy officers from coast to coast, all showcased in a commemorative one-hour special, COPS: 20TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION airing Tuesday, Sept. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Approaching 700 episodes, COPS also basks in the triumph of inspiring many imitators, a satirical cable series and a feature film. COPS cameras have filmed in Hong Kong, London, Central America, South America, Moscow and St. Petersburg, and the show airs internationally in over 120 countries.
The COPS 700th episode airing Saturday, Nov. 11 (8:00�8:30 PM ET/PT) will celebrate the milestone with a vintage, action-packed, half-hour of cameras following officers as they patrol and encounter unpredictable suspects and circumstances.
