MyNetworkTV Finalizes Fall Lineup
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- MyNetworkTV has firmed up its fall plans, adding three new series in addition to the previously announced "Jail" and "Decision House."

The trio are "NFL Network: Total Access," a spin-off of the NFL Network series of the same name; "Celebrity Expose," a newsmagazine from the executive producers of "Access Hollywood"; and "Control Room Presents," a weekly concert series.

The latter pair will air Mondays at 8:00/7:00c and 9:00/8:00c respectively starting October 1. They'll take over for "IFL Battleground," which wraps its freshman run the previous week. "Battleground" then will return for its second season sometime in 2008. One-hour, condensed encores of the show's first season however will continue to run on Saturdays at 8:00/7:00c.

Kevin Wall is behind "Room," the early episodes of which will feature Mandy Moore at Chicago Park West, Maroon 5 at Montreal's Cabaret Club and John Mayer at New York's Webster Hall, while Rob Silverstein will shepherd "Expose."

As for "Access," the series - a mix of game highlights, interviews and features - will assume the Saturday, 9:00/8:00c slot starting September 8. Rich Eisen, Marshall Faulk and Rod Woodson, co-hosts of the NFL Network version, will also host the MyNetworkTV entry. "Access" is set to run for 20 weeks, or through February 23, save for those weeks with Saturday games (December 15-January 12).

Meanwhile, the netlet has confirmed "Jail" will launch on Tuesday, September 4 at 9:00/8:00c while "Decision House" will roll out the following week on Wednesday, September 12 at 8:00/7:00c. Off-network repeats of Fox Reality's "The Academy" and NBC's "Meet My Folks" will also begin on said dates as lead-in and lead-out respectively of the newcomers.

"Jail," a repackaged version of Court TV's reality series "Inside American Jail," comes from Langley Productions ("Cops") with John Langley and Morgan Langley executive producing. Lynn Toler ("Divorce Court") hosts "House," which puts troubled couples in a surveiled house for three days in order to determine if they should stay together.

And finally, MyNetworkTV will also carry two preview episodes of the upcoming syndicated game show "Temptation" on Wednesday, September 5 starting at 8:00/7:00c. The series, hosted by Rossi Morreale, then will launch on Monday, September 10 on local stations across the country, many of which are also MyNetworkTV affiliates.
