SLEUTH OCTOBER HIGHLIGHTS

Marathons Of Hit Shows And Top Notch Mysteries Mark The Beginning of Fall On Sleuth

BURBANK, Calif. � October 2, 2007 � Sleuth is offering up an entire month of mystery and suspense allowing viewers to avoid the cold outside and experience chills of a different kind. Marathons of some of the most exciting crime dramas on television and films will lead to a Halloween weekend of unrelenting suspense.

"October is chock full of the best television and feature film mysteries on Sleuth," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice President, Emerging Networks, NBC Universal Cable. "We have put together some of the best mystery marathons to date, with our Mind Games Marathon on October 12th and the always popular Sleuth Murder Mondays and Action Wednesdays."

On Monday October 8, 12pm � 2am (ET) Sleuth presents MAJOR CASE MARATHONS. It will begin with Bayliss' first case, a prominent family's secret and the murder of a detective comprising the Homicide: Life on the Street Major Case Marathon on Monday October 8 from 12pm � 7pm (ET). Then FBI profiler Samantha Waters squares off with the Jack-of-All-Trades in The Profiler Major Case Marathon from 7pm-2am (ET).

Friday October 12 is all about deception and secrets on Sleuth with the MIND GAMES MARATHON from 12pm to 3am (ET). The night begins as an internet serial killer taunts the detectives of Homicide: Life on the Street at 12pm and 4pm (ET). Simon and Simon's uncle schemes and gets the guys in trouble at 1pm (ET) while Magnum, P.I. investigates unsolved mysteries at 2pm and 6:30pm (ET). Sherlock Holmes takes on the case of The Hound of the Baskervilles at 5pm (ET) while the Miami Vice detectives wonder if a colleague has gone mad at 8:30pm (ET). Viewers can count down with their favorites America's Top Sleuths at 9:30pm and 1am (ET) featuring interviews with Peter Falk, Stephen J. Cannell and more. Then, mystery man Mark Wahlberg reveals The Truth About Charlie at 11pm (ET). Finally, Sgt. Friday uncovers a pyramid scheme on Dragnet at 2:30am (ET).

Every Thursday on Sleuth, the network presents HIT MEN at 8pm & 11pm (ET). Throughout October, Sleuth fires off hits every Thursday night: Cold Blooded on October 4 at 8pm (ET) and The Eiger Sanction at 11pm (ET), Confesssions of a Dangerous Mind on October 11 at 8pm and 11:30pm (ET), Dad Savage on October 18 at 8pm (ET) with The Assassination File at 11pm (ET) and The Day of the Jackal on October 25 at 8pm (ET) followed by Red Skies at 11pm (ET).

Sleuth wraps up October with the SLEUTH HALLOWEEN OF THRILLS from Friday October 26 to Wednesday October 31. It will be six days of tricks, treats and mysteries. The nail-biting thrillers arrive on Friday October 26 with When A Stranger Calls Back at 8pm (ET) and Sliver at 10pm (ET). Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis star in a deadly game of hide-and-seek in Witness on Saturday October 27 at 8pm (ET) followed by a phone prank becoming deadly in I Saw What You Did at 10:30pm (ET). Timothy Busfield becomes involved in Murder Between Friends on Sunday October 28 at 2pm and 11pm (ET). Fan-favorite sleuths are haunted in the Back from the Dead Marathon on Sunday October 28 from 4pm-11pm (ET). What happens when the detectives of Miami Vice, Magnum, P.I., Homicide: Life on the Street and The Rockford Files unearth folks who were supposed to be dead? Viewers will have to tune in to find out.

JoBeth Williams learns what happens When Danger Follows You Home on Monday October 29 at 8pm (ET) then Very Bad Things occur at a bachelor party with Jon Favreau, Jeremy Piven and Cameron Diaz at 11pm (ET). On Tuesday October 30, Sleuth digs up a double dose of Buried Alive at 8pm (ET) and Buried Alive II at 10pm (ET).

Halloween arrives on Wednesday October 31 with a scintillating marathon of Medical Investigation, The Burning Zone and The Profiler from 8am-6pm (ET). Is game show host Chuck Barris secretly a CIA agent in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind at 8pm and 12:30am (ET), or is it all a prank? Gus Van Sant re-invents Psycho shot-for-shot at 10:30pm (ET) and the phone rings When A Stranger Calls Back at 3am (ET).
