The Polls are Open: TBS Viewers Choose FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR: 2007 for One-Hour Special, Hosted by Kevin Nealon
Fans Can Watch Commercials and Vote for Favorites Through TBS's Ultra-Popular Broadband Network VeryFunnyAds.com; Voting Concludes Nov. 29

It's that time of year again � fans of side-splitting commercials can head over to TBS's VeryFunnyAds.com to vote on their choices for FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR: 2007, the network's annual celebration of the cleverest and most humorous commercials from the United States and around the world. Then after the votes are tallied, the winning ads will be featured in a one-hour TBS special hosted by comedian Kevin Nealon (Saturday Night Live, Weeds). This marks the fourth consecutive year TBS is inviting viewers to vote on their favorite ads and the second year voting will be conducted through TBS's extremely popular VeryFunnyAds.com broadband network. Voting at VeryFunnyAds.com opened Nov. 12 and will continue through Nov. 29. TBS's FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR: 2007, which premieres Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), is produced by Robert Dalrymple Productions in conjunction with IMG Media, a division of IMG, the world's premier sports, entertainment and media enterprise. Dalrymple and Steve Mayer serve as executive producers.
"With both our annual year-end specials and our summer world-wide specials, TBS has become the ultimate destination for the funniest and most entertaining commercials ever created," said Ken Schwab, senior vice president of programming for TBS and sister network TNT. "This year's collection of commercials is funnier than ever, and we look forward to seeing which ones our viewers choose to be the best of the year."
FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR: 2007 will feature more than 50 spots, 10 of which can be viewed via TBS's VeryFunnyAds.com, which since its launch in 2006 has scored more than 75 million videos viewed (Source: Omniture). Fans can vote for the ads they feel deserve the title of "Funniest Commercial of the Year," then tune in on Wednesday, Dec. 26, to see how their favorites ranked. FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR: 2007 will also spotlight a handful of amusing and memorable ads from years past. Nealon will host the special from Times Square.
Last year's FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR special on TBS scored big, averaging 5.1 million viewers, more than 2.7 of them among TBS's targeted adults 18-49 demographic, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. In addition to the annual FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR special, TBS also presents an annual WORLD'S FUNNIEST COMMERCIALS special each August.
Nealon, who recently hosted TBS's World's Funniest Commercials, is a familiar face to television viewers, thanks to his long run on Saturday Night Live playing numerous memorable characters from 1986 to 1995. He garnered an Emmy� nomination for his writing on the series. His list of feature credits includes such hit movies as Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, Anger Management and Daddy Day Care. He is also starring in the critically acclaimed comedy series Weeds. His guest star appearances on television series include Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Larry Sanders Show, Fat Actress, 3rd Rock from the Sun and Crank Yankers.
Robert Dalrymple is a Peabody and Emmy-winning television producer whose most recent productions include Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials, for CBS in conjunction with IMG Media; the American Cinematheque Specials, for TNT and AMC; and Showtime's adaptation of Sam Sheppard's True West. He also co-founded and executive-produced the Screen Actors Guild Awards for NBC and TNT.
Dalrymple is perhaps best known for Billy Joel's tour in Russia, Billy Crystal's first comedy special from Russia and the CBS production of pianist Vladimir Horowitz's return to Moscow after 62 years. He won Emmys� for Free To Be a Family and a documentary on Itzhak Perlman's tour of Russia, and was nominated for The King & I�Recording a Hollywood Dream. His television movies include Howard Hughes � His Woman and His Movies, Shame, Baby Brokers and A Christmas Romance.
