FRANKLIN BRIDGE IS ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION ON "THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND"

ONE MORE BAND WILL GO HOME AND THE TOP 6 BANDS PERFORM MICK JAGGER/KEITH RICHARDS SONGS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 23, ON FOX

The competition narrowed tonight on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND as Franklin Bridge received the fewest votes after last week's Top 8 performance show, and was eliminated from the competition. Franklin Bridge is a rock/funk band from Philadelphia, PA. The remaining Top 7 bands each performed a Leiber and Stoller song on tonight's show.

Next week, one more band will be eliminated based on tonight's voting results, and the Top 6 bands will perform a song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in front of a live studio audience on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND Friday, Nov. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are members of legendary band The Rolling Stones, and have been a songwriting team for more than 40 years. Their writing partnership began with the song "As Tears Go By" and their first co-writing project released as a single by The Rolling Stones was "Tell Me (You're Coming Back)." Jagger and Richards have collaborated on almost 100 songs.

MSN, the exclusive online partner for THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND, has created http://nextgreatband.msn.com where fans can hear their favorite bands performances, get the latest information on the show, their favorite contestants, judges and much more.

THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND, created by Simon Fuller, is produced by 19 Entertainment and FremantleMedia North America. Simon Fuller (19 Entertainment), Nigel Lythgoe (19 Entertainment), Ken Warwick (FremantleMedia North America) and Cecile Frot-Coutaz (FremantleMedia North America) are executive producers. Charles Boyd is co-executive producer.
