USA NETWORK'S HIT SERIES "PSYCH" CONTINUES ITS SECOND SEASON ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 11 AT 10/9C

PSYCH agency opens new cases starring James Roday, Dul Hill and Corbin Bernsen

PSYCH, will continue its second season with six all-new episodes on USA Network on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 10/9c.

NEW YORK - Decmeber 19, 2007 - The premiere episode for this half season starts with a unique case for Shawn and Gus called "There is something about Mira." Shawn's world is turned upside-down during a missing person case that comes from an unexpected client Gus' wife! Kerry Washington ("Ray," "The Fantastic Four") guest stars.

A quick-witted drama, PSYCH stars James Roday ("The Dukes of Hazzard") as young police consultant Shawn Spencer who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute the precinct detectives think he's psychic at least that's what he lets them believe. The series also stars Dul Hill ("The West Wing") as Shawn's best friend and reluctant sidekick Gus and Corbin Bernsen ("Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," "L.A. Law") as Shawn's disapproving father, who ironically was the one who honed his son's "observation" skills as a child. Also featured are Timothy Omundson ("Judging Amy," "Deadwood"), Maggie Lawson ("Crumbs," "Inside Schwartz") and Kirsten Nelson ("Everwood").

PSYCH is executive produced by Steve Franks ("Big Daddy"), Kelly Kulchack and Chris Henze, in association with Tagline Pictures' and NBC Universal Television Studio. Mel Damski ("Picket Fences") is the producing director and Saladin Patterson ("The Bernie Mac Show") is the co-executive producer.

The boys are back and better than ever, and this time fans will join Young Shawn and Gus as they uncover the mysteries of childhood in "The Big Adventures of Little Shawn and Gus," a series of animated vignettes produced by JJ Sedelmaier. Also at the official site, http://Psych.USANetwork.com, viewers will author their own spin on Little Shawn and Gus by crafting cartoon captions of the young duo, and get to play along with the boys in two new games, Pogo Adventure and Hotshot Shootout. And as always, Psych fans will watch new Psych-Outs, the premiere of a brand-new Webisode "Winner Picks Dinner" and full episodes featuring their favorite fake psychic detective.
