SIXTEEN CANDLES LIGHT THE NIGHT AS TWO NEW EPISODES OF MTV'S MY SUPER SWEET 16 PREMIERE ON JANUARY 1ST AT 10PM ET/PT AND 10:30PM ET/PT

MTV's sweet16.mtv.com Will Grant Full Access To Exclusive Scenes And A Chance To Catch Up With Your Favorite Sweet 16er

New Years Eve is all about who can throw the biggest, craziest party, but New Year's Day will bring two totally over-the-top bashes on MTV's My Super Sweet 16. On January 1st two back to back episodes will feature two teens who will bring glitz and glamour to their towns. Beginning at 10pm ET/PT, Montreal, Canada resident Alicia will set the bar extremely high for non-American Sweet 16 parties. Then at 10:30pm ET/PT, join Chanae, of Cleveland, OH as she shows that preachers' kids are made to party like rock stars. My Super Sweet 16 documents completely extravagant birthday parties and coming-of-age celebrations, and follows the triumphs and tribulations faced by teens - and their parents - as they prepare for one of the biggest nights of their lives.

10pm ET/PT- Alicia, a fun spirited, blonde, French Canadian, is a trend setter among her friends. And since Sweet 16s aren't really that big in Canada, Alicia is planning on setting the bar with hers. She is going to make sure that her Moulin Rouge themed party is going to be the biggest thing to hit Montreal ever! In this episode, follow Alicia as she tries to learn her performance dance to Lady Marmalade, ask her crush to be her date to the party and get a gift that no Sweet 16er has ever gotten on our show before

10:30pm ET/PT- Chanae is a preacher's daughter who is blessed and gets everything that she wants. And this Christian wants to show everyone that she knows how to have fun, she's throwing a rock star bash. This party has to be the hottest, but when her Mom tells her that her budget has been reached, Chanae declares that Jesus wouldn't want her to have a budget. She's having this soiree at the famous Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame, and is handing out her invites Rock Star Style on motorcycles with her favorite basketball player from the Cleveland Cavaliers. To top it off, Chanae is making her grand entrance on her daddy's plane. Will Chanae be able to pull off this Rock and Roll party or will it be a bust and go down in flames?

After every episode, viewers get a VIP invitation to My Super Sweet Afterparty at sweet16.mtv.com where they'll find exclusive features and even more super sweet footage.

Each Sweet 16er's After Party includes a Q&A with the birthday girl or boy and their parents, a Cribs-style tour of her house and bedroom, a party review from the lucky kids who experienced her birthday bash firsthand and never-before-seen footage from her episode, including deleted scenes and outtakes.

In addition, on the sweet16.mtv.com show page, fans of My Super Sweet 16 can find updates on where all of their favorite Sweet 16ers from past seasons are now, listen to playlists created by the kids on the show, get tips on how to throw their own super sweet soiree and check out profiles of this season's Sweet 16ers to find out everything about them they ever wanted to know -- from what's in their closets to what's on their MP3 players.
