Bravo To Go Wins First Tech & Engineering Emmy at 59th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards

LAS VEGAS � January 8, 2008 � Bravo announced today it would debut its innovative "L-Bar" technology during the network's inaugural "A-List Awards" show later this spring. This first-ever live technology where viewers can interact with both the television program and the commercials, allowing sponsors and advertising to become completely interactive, giving viewers the opportunity to participate in sweepstakes, real-time polling and coupon offerings, as well as advertiser text messaging and web/wireless offerings. The announcement was made by Lisa Hsia, Senior Vice President, Bravo New Media.

"This innovation will help drive viewer engagement and involvement with both the programming and its commercials," said Hsia. "The 'L-Bar' allows the consumer to seamlessly interact with the show, as well provide an added value experience for the advertiser."

The 'L-Bar' provides the consumer that much more information about a product that seamlessly integrates and expands on the creative content in the show, giving an added value viewing experience."

A graphical, on-screen overlay (in the shape of an "L"), the "L-Bar" can be used to solicit viewer comments about their favorite shows and characters, answer trivia and poll questions and respond to various calls to action - all via text message or online throughout the broadcast and commercial breaks.

Additionally, Bravo's continues to be recognized for its wireless content as the network earned its first Technology & Engineering Emmy at the 59th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards presented at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Tuesday, January 7. Bravo won the "Best Use of Personal Media Display and Presentation" category for Bravo To Go, a mobile platform that offers engaging interactive content wherever and whenever the consumer wants it. Bravo To Go allows users to take part in robust text messaging campaigns, go to the wireless website WAP.BravoTV.com to read blogs, take polls, play games and view programming on mobile video while giving users instant access to anything and everything Bravo.
