Award-Winning Executive Producer Harry Friedman Inks New Deal to Continue on Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!

CULVER CITY, Calif., Jan. 21 -- Harry Friedman will continue to serve as executive producer of America's top two syndicated game shows, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy!, under a new multi-year pact with Sony Pictures Television (SPT), it was announced today by Steve Mosko, president, SPT.

"Harry Friedman is an enthusiastic innovator, a wonderful collaborator and an extremely talented producer," said Mosko. "His passion for television and his contributions to 'Wheel' and 'Jeopardy!' are unparalleled, and we're so happy to be continuing our successful relationship."

Harry Friedman has been the executive producer of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! for Sony Pictures Television since 1999. In September 2007, Wheel of Fortune began its 25th anniversary season while Jeopardy! will celebrate its 25th season next fall.

Friedman began his television career working part-time as a question-writer on the hit series Hollywood Squares, ultimately writing and producing more than 3,000 episodes of the game show over the next ten years.

Recognized as a leader in the television industry, Friedman has won seven Emmy Awards and been nominated 28 times. In January 2007, he was honored by the National Association of Television Program Executives with the prestigious Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award and in October, Friedman was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame.
