Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

CAPRICA (Sci Fi) - Polly Walker ("Cane") has scored a role on the "Battlestar Galactica" prequel. She'll play Sister Clarice Willow, the gracious, eloquent and duplicitous high priestess and headmistress of the Athena Academy, a private religious school. Alessandra Toressani, Eric Stoltz, Esai Morales and Paula Malcomson also star in the two-hour backdoor pilot, which comes from executive producers David Eick, Remi Aubuchon and Ronald D. Moore. Jeffrey Reiner is directing from a script by the latter duo.

HARPER'S ISLAND (CBS) - Jeffrey Bell ("Day Break") has been tapped as the showrunner of the midseason drama, about a group of friends who are terrorized when they meet on an island off the Seattle coast for a destination wedding. It's understood he'll pen a new pilot script for the project, which is also expected to undergo major recasting save for Elaine Cassidy as the series' lead. Ari Schlossberg created the CBS Paramount Television-based hour, which is also executive produced by Jon Turteltaub. Schlossberg, Karim Zreik and Dan Shotz then serve as co-executive producers.

HOUSE (FOX) - Michael Weston ("Scrubs") is set to appear in a multi-episode arc on the show's upcoming fifth season. He'll play Lucas, a private investigator who is as intelligent but not as abrasive as Dr. House (Hugh Laurie). Said role is reportedly being eyed for a potential spin-off of the series.

MY NAME IS EARL (NBC) - Bobby Bowman, an executive producer on the veteran comedy, has inked a new two-year, seven-figure overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television. The pact covers his duties on the series, which he serves alongside creator Greg Garcia. In addition, he'll develop new series projects for the studio.

NIP/TUCK (FX) - "Battlestar Galactica" co-star Katee Sackhoff has booked a multi-episode arc on the series. She'll play Dr. Theodora "Teddy" Lowe in at least four upcoming episodes, a role which is further detailed in the casting notice as follows: "28-35. She is a new anesthesiologist at McNamara/Troy. Extremely sexy, dark (think Angelina Jolie), a risk taker. She will be Sean's (Dylan Walsh) new relationship and will bring out his wild side." She'll make her first appearance in episode 19 of the show's fifth season.

WAREHOUSE 13 (Sci Fi) - Saul Rubinek ("Blind Justice") is the latest addition to the two-hour backdoor pilot, about a location where the government houses supernatural objects. He'll play Artie Nielsen, a longtime Secret Service agent in charge of Warehouse 13. Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly also star in the Universal Media Studios-based project, which comes from co-creators D. Brent Mote, Jane Espenson and Rockne O'Bannon. Jace Alexander is directing.
