Father's Day Brings Top Celebrity Fathers to the Screen for an 11-hour Marathon and Sleuth Celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Legendary Series "Columbo"

Burbank, Calif. � May 23, 2008 -- Sleuth kicks off summer with a month of top sleuths and big laughs with celebrated comedians on the job to crack the case. Veteran crime-fighters also hit the scene in June for a full day of classic sleuthing. Viewers can cool down this summer with a weekend of Ice-T in a Dick Wolf weekend marathon, and a special Father's Day marathon gives dads a chance to relax and watch some of the toughest dads in the business hard at work. Sleuth also celebrates a big anniversary when "Columbo" turns 40.

"Viewers have much to look forward to on Sleuth in June," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice-President, Emerging Networks, NBC Universal. "This month we have a packed schedule with quality programming dedicated to comedy greats as well as favorite Sleuths and of course a special nod to dads in honor of Father's Day."

June brings funny business to the scene beginning on Friday, June 6 with the Sleuth premiere of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" at 8pm and 11pm ET. Funnyman Michael Richards is featured in an episode of "Miami Vice" at 10pm and 5am ET. On Saturday, June 7, catch two comedic greats, Chevy Chase and Jack Palance, as they square off in the Sleuth premiere of "Cops and Robbersons" at 8pm and 11pm ET followed by an early appearance by Chris Rock in "Miami Vice" at 10pm and 5am ET. Howie Mandel and Robin Williams take a turn for the serious on "Homicide: Life on the Streets" at 6pm and 7pm ET, while Clint Eastwood goes for a bumpy ride in "Pink Cadillac" at 8pm and 12:30am ET.

Television's most renowned sleuths are honored in a weekend event beginning Friday, June 27, commencing with Jodie Foster in the acclaimed psychological thriller "The Silence of the Lambs" at 8pm and 11:30pm ET. A Sleuth original special, "America's Top Sleuths," follows at 1am and 3:30am ET and fans of Bruce Willis can see him in his first television role in "Miami Vice" at 2:30am and 5am ET. On Saturday, June 28, Ken Wahl returns to Sleuth as "Wiseguy" at 8am and 12pm ET, followed by the famous married detective couple in "Hart to Hart: Crimes of the Hart" at 10am ET. A four episode marathon of "Law & Order" featuring the detectives from "Homicide: Life on the Streets" begins at 2pm ET. The night continues with Clint Eastwood in "Play Misty for Me" at 8pm and 11pm followed by Michael Chiklis on "Miami Vice" at 10pm and 5am ET.

Finishing up the weekend is a case for "Young Sherlock Holmes" on Sunday, June 29 at 6am ET followed by Peter Falk in "The Brink's Job" at 8am ET. The "Homicide/Law & Order" marathon encores at 10am ET and Angela Lansbury and Tom Selleck team up for a "Magnum, P.I." / "Murder She Wrote" crossover event at 4pm and 7pm ET. Dennis Franz, prior to his role on "NYPD Blue," gives "Simon & Simon" a visit at 5pm ET, while Vincent D'Onofrio ("Law & Order: Criminal Intent") guests on "Homicide" at 6pm ET.

Sleuth celebrates the 40th anniversary of "Columbo" with a rare Peter Falk interview in "America's Top Sleuths" at 8pm and 2am ET, followed by an encore of "The Brink's Job" at 9:30pm and Eric Bogosian ("Law & Order: Criminal Intent") can be seen and heard on the air in "Talk Radio" at 11:30pm and 3:30am ET to wrap up the night.

It's Father's Day on Sleuth when some of our most renowned crime-fighting fathers hard at work on Sunday, June 15 in an eleven-hour movie marathon. First up are James Woods and "Iron Man's" Robert Downey Jr. in "True Believer" at 4pm and 3:30am ET. Then, legendary great Robert DeNiro in the critically acclaimed "A Bronx Tale" at 6:30pm ET. Marlon Brando and Matthew Broderick continue the Father's Day celebration in the Sleuth premiere of "The Freshman" at 9pm and 1:30am ET. Finally, summer's biggest action-star Harrison Ford stars in "Frantic" at 11pm ET.

Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 gives viewers a weekend dose of Ice-T with "Players," Sleuth's hottest new show, starring Ice-T and Costas Mandylor in a three-hour marathon from 2-6pm ET, followed by Ice-T in an episode of "New York Undercover." The marathon encores on Sunday, June 2 from 10am � 2pm ET.

Legendary veteran crime-fighters are back on the case on Sunday, June 1 with Ken Wahl in "Wiseguy: The Movie" at 8pm and 2am ET. Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers reunite as Sleuth's favorite crime-fighting duo in "Hart to Hart Returns" at 10pm and 4am ET. Finally, the entire cast of "Homicide" faces their toughest challenge in "Homicide: The Movie" at 12am ET.
