By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

90210 (The CW) - Meghan Markle and Kellan Lutz have both scored roles on the upcoming "90210" revival on the netlet. Lutz will play George Evans, a star lacrosse player who clashes with Tristan Wilds's character, while Markle is set as Wendy, a sexy student at West Beverly Hills High who takes every advantage of her looks.

GOOD BEHAVIOR (ABC) - Treat Williams and Meghan Markle likewise are set to guest star on the drama pilot, about the matriarch of a family of criminals (Catherine O'Hara) who decides it's time for her brood to go straight. The former is playing Burt Valencia, a casino owner, with Markle as his spoiled daughter Sadie. Gary Cole, Jeffrey Tambor, Keith Robinson, Mae Whitman, Patrick Adams and Stephanie Lemelin also co-star in the ABC Studios-based hour, which comes from creator Rob Thomas and director Charles McDougall.

KATH & KIM (NBC) - Executive producer Michelle Nader has signed a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with the show's producer Universal Media Studios. The pact covers her duties on the freshman comedy as well as her development during the period. NBC infamously ordered "Kath" straight to series off of Nader's script back in February. Production recently wrapped on its pilot and the series itself was extended to 13 episodes last week.

MISTRESSES (Lifetime) - Holly Marie Combs ("Charmed"), Brooke Burns ("Miss/Guided") and Rochelle Aytes ("Drive") have all scored the lead roles on the drama pilot, about a quartet of thirtysomething women who have been friends since college. Combs will play Jane, who gave up her career to be a stay-at-home mom, with Burns as Shannon, an outspoken and sharp attorney, and Aytes as Ava, a bright and spunky soap star. Melissa Carter created the Fox 21-based hour, which is based on the BBC series of the same name.

SONS OF ANARCHY (FX) - "The Shield's" Jay Karnes has booked a recurring role on the upcoming FX drama, about a notorious outlaw motorcycle club's efforts to protect their town of Charming, California from everything from drug dealers to local corporate developers. He'll play ATF Agent Scott Kohn in a six-episode arc.

SUBURBAN SHOOTOUT (HBO) - Michael Weaver ("Notes from the Underbelly") and Mary Birdsong ("Reno 911") are the latest additions to the single-camera comedy pilot, about a woman (Judy Greer) who escapes the city for suburban bliss only to find herself caught between two rival gangs of homicidal housewives as they vie for control of their idyllic town. Weaver will play the husband of Greer's character, the new chief of police of the suburban town, while Birdsong is set as a member of one of the gangs. Kelly Preston, Kerri Kenney and Rachael Harris also star in the half-hour, which Barry Sonnenfeld is directing from a script by Michelle Ashford.
