CBS IS GOING TO THE DOGS THIS SUMMER COURTING CANINE LOVERS COAST TO COAST

Cross-Platform Marketing Campaign Unleashed to Promote "GREATEST AMERICAN DOG" Premiering Thursday, July 10, on the CBS Television Network

Pooch Push Spans Social Networking on Dogster.com ... In-Store Video at Supermarkets ... Hot Dog Stands and Dog Walkers on the Streets of New York ... Targeted Print, Cable, Radio and Cinema Advertising

In an innovative campaign to promote the new summer reality series GREATEST AMERICAN DOG, the CBS Marketing Group today unleashed a pack of promotions designed to fetch the attention of dog lovers and enthusiasts through targeted media outlets and outreach in the environments where they hang out ?? both online and out-of-home.

GREATEST AMERICAN DOG, premiering Thursday, July 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, is supported by an integrated marketing campaign spanning online promotions on Dogster.com, the fastest-growing pet destination on the Internet; video displays in selected supermarkets; branded hot dog stands and dog walker street teams in New York; and advertising on cable and radio, and in print and movie theaters.

Dogster.com, the leading online destination for pet information, resources, community and entertainment, is currently featuring banner advertisements and video teasers for GREATEST AMERICAN DOG, and has created pet profiles for the contestants, allowing users to find out more about the dog stars. Visitors to Dogster.com can also participate in GREATEST AMERICAN DOG fan club groups featuring chat, forums and weekly show highlights and teasers. In addition, the show will be promoted on Dogster.com's "Dog Blog" and newsletter.

The in-store component of the GREATEST AMERICAN DOG campaign makes use of motion sensors and video screens in the pet food aisle of selected grocery stores in New York and Los Angeles. Shoppers who come within a few feet of the sensor hear a bark, and are invited to press a button that initiates a thirty-second video clip.

Meanwhile, out on the streets of Manhattan, branded carts are taking to the streets, touting a quintessential American summer food ?? hot dogs. Bearing GREATEST AMERICAN DOG umbrellas, pedestrian signs, napkins and hot dog boats, the carts will get the word out to wiener-hungry New Yorkers all over the city. In addition, dog walkers in highly trafficked dog locations will walk dogs bedecked in branded GREATEST AMERICAN DOG vests and collars.

The primetime show will also be supported by cable, radio and cinema advertising targeted to families and dog enthusiasts, as well as a full-page ad in the July issue of The Bark, an upscale monthly dog culture magazine sold in Barnes & Noble, Whole Foods, PetCo, and other national and local specialty retail chains.

About The Show:

Twelve extraordinary teams of dogs and owners from across the nation will compete for the title of GREATEST AMERICAN DOG. Hosted by zoologist/television personality Jarod Miller, owners and their pets - from "pageant dogs" to those simply trained at home - will live together and compete against each other in challenges that put the owners' ability to train their dogs to the test. Each week, judges Wendy Diamond (author, and founder and Editor-In-Chief of Animal Fair Magazine), Allan Reznick (Editor-At-Large of Dog World and Dog Fancy Magazine) and Victoria Stilwell (author and host of the television series "It's Me or the Dog") will eliminate one dog and their owner. The last remaining team will walk away with a $250,000 cash prize and the title of GREATEST AMERICAN DOG.

GREATEST AMERICAN DOG is executive produced by R.J. Cutler, Stu Schreiberg and Stephen Kroopnick for Magic Molehill Productions, Inc., in association with Actual Reality Pictures and Triage Entertainment, Inc.
