NBC'S SMASH HIT GAME SHOW 'DEAL OR NO DEAL' AND ALL-NEW EXTREME REALITY COMPETITION SERIES 'AMERICA'S TOUGHEST JOBS' PREMIERE WITH FOUR SPECIAL MONDAY EPISODES BEGINNING AUGUST 25

"Deal or No Deal's" Popular Million Dollar Mission Returns in the Quest to Find the First Million Dollar Winner

"America's Toughest Jobs" to Feature 13 Men and Women Muscling Their Way Through Some of the Most Challenging and Dangerous Professions in America for Prize Money Worth Over $250,000

BURBANK - July 20, 2008 - Using the launching pad of the Summer Olympic Games, NBC's popular game show "Deal or No Deal" and the all-new extreme reality competition series "America's Toughest Jobs" will premiere with four special Monday night episodes beginning August 25. "Deal or No Deal" will return with the exciting Million Dollar Mission from 8-9 p.m. (ET), and "America's Toughest Jobs" will air from 9-10 p.m. (ET) before moving to Fridays at 8 p.m. ET beginning September 19. "Deal" will debut its Wednesday and Friday night episodes in October.

"Deal or No Deal's" adrenaline-filled Million Dollar Mission is back with four $1 million cases on the board upping the odds of a contestant choosing the elusive case holding the top prize. An additional million-dollar case will be added to the board with each consecutive game until one lucky player takes home the big money.

"Deal or No Deal" is hosted by recent Emmy nominee Howie Mandel and is produced by Endemol USA. Scott St. John is the executive producer.

Produced by Thom Beers ("Ice Road Truckers" "Deadliest Catch") and BermanBraun,"America's Toughest Jobs" will celebrate the blue-collar workers who helped make America what it is today and will provide viewers an authentic in-the-trenches work experience with each hair-raising challenge.

"America's Toughest Jobs," which was filmed entirely on location in cities across the country including Anchorage, Alaska; Midland, Texas; Long Beach, California and Astoria, Oregon, will give the contestants a chance to venture outside of their everyday careers and compete for over $250,000 -- the combined annual salary of the jobs they are given -- all the while being judged by their new boss and co-workers. At stake during each challenge is the annual salary of the job being performed. As each of them throw fear out the window with an "I can do that attitude," the contestants are judged on logging high in the Oregon forest, extreme fishing in the Bering Sea and oil drilling on a Texas range, just to name a few. Each week, one contestant will be sent home as they are judged by their successes and failures.

The cast of "America's Toughest Jobs" is comprised of 13 brave men and women:

Amy Brodsky Sailboat Delivery Boston, Massachusetts

Rick Broider Vice President of a Software Company Loudon, New Hampshire

Senta Burke Executive Assistant Los Angeles, California

Michaela Clemence Scientific Recruiter Brighton, Massachusetts

Ben Coleman Carpenter Brighton, Massachusetts
