ABC Sends 'Wanna BET' to Tuesdays

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC is shifting its new game show "Wanna Bet?" to Tuesday nights, scheduling updates from the network confirmed this afternoon.
Repeats of "Samantha Who?," originally set for the Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c hour, will assume "Bet's" old Monday, 9:00/8:00c slot starting next week (August 11).
"Bet" then will follow breakout hit "Wipeout" on Tuesdays at 9:00/8:00c as of August 12.
The show's most recent installment drew a paltry 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 after "High School Musical: Get in the Picture" (0.8 rating adults 18-49) on August 4.
The Alphabet undoubtedly hopes "Wipeout," which has consistently ranked as the number two show of the week in both total viewers and adults 18-49, will give "Bet" a much needed boost.
