DR. 90210/THE GIRLS NEXT DOOR (E!) - The cable channel has confirmed return dates for its signature reality series. "Dr. 90210" will kick off season six on Monday, September 8 at 10:00/9:00c while "The Girls" are back for season five on Sunday, October 5 at 10:00/9:00c. In addition, the network also confirmed newcomer "Pam: Girl on the Loose" will shift to Tuesdays at 10:00/9:00c effective immediately.
HELLHOUNDS (Sci Fi) - Scott Elrod ("Men in Trees") has been tapped to star in the original movie, about Kleitos, a Greek warrior in 500 B.C. who with his companions fights against the hellhounds of Hades to rescue his bride from the Underworld and bring her back to life. Ricky Schroder is directing the project, which was penned by Paul A. Birkett. Production then is set to begin this weekend in Romania, with Canada's Muse Entertainment and Romania's S.C. Studiourile Media Pro co-producing and RHI Entertainment distributing. Michael Prupas, Robert Halmi Sr. and Robert Halmi Jr. are the executive producers. No air date was given.
HUNG (HBO) - Kristin Bauer ("Dirty Sexy Money") has landed a role on the drama pilot, about Ray (Thomas Jane), a well-endowed struggling high school basketball coach. She's set as Ray's ex-wife. Charlie Saxton and Jane Adams also star in the hour, which comes from creators Colette Burson and Dmitry Lipkin. Alexander Payne is directing.
LAPD (NBC) - Shawn Hatosy ("NUMB3RS") is the latest addition to the pilot, an ensemble cop drama from executive producer John Wells. He'll play Sammy, a newlywed cop with marriage troubles. Benjamin McKenzie, Kevin Alejandro, Michael Cudlitz, Michael McGrady and Regina King also star in the Warner Bros. Television-based project, which Christopher Chulack is helming from a script by Ann Biderman.
PRIVILEGED (The CW) - David Giuntoli ("Eli Stone") has booked a recurring role on the freshman drama. He'll play Jacob Cassidy, the new high school dean of Rose and Sage's school. It's not clear when his first episode will air.
