RADIO FAVORITE BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE� TAPPED AS MATCH ANNOUNCER FOR "HULK HOGAN'S CELEBRITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING" PREMIERING SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18 AT 8PM ET/PT ON CMT
LOS ANGELES � October 9, 2008 � The all-star cast of CMT's new series HULK HOGAN'S CELEBRITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING grows even bigger as renowned radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge� adds his signature voice as the show's play-by-play match announcer. Premiering Saturday, October 18 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT, the show will pit 10 celebrities against each other as they vie for the title of "Celebrity All Star Heavyweight Champion."
Bubba will provide the play-by-play analysis for each match as the celebrity cast -- including former NBA champion Dennis Rodman, "Bewitched" actress Erin Murphy, Playboy playmate Nikki Ziering, "Different Strokes" actor Todd Bridges, Super Heavyweight boxer ButterBean, reality TV star Trishelle Cannatella, "Saved by the Bell"s Dustin Diamond, actor, boxer and recording artist Frank Stallone, pop sensation Tiffany, and reality TV star and radio host Danny Bonaduce � go head to head in the ring in their quest to win the competition. Hulk Hogan, along with former World Championship Wrestling President Eric Bischoff and professional wrestling manager Jimmy Hart will serve as judges and decide who gets eliminated each week.

Bubba the Love Sponge� gained recognition and popularity through his syndicated radio show "Bubba the Love Sponge." In 2004 his radio show obtained the highest-ever FCC fine for indecency and was removed from terrestrial radio. Bubba was recruited by Howard Stern to join him in his launch on Sirius Satellite Radio in 2006 and currently hosts afternoons on Sirius channel Howard 101.
