LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has passed on ordering full seasons of its sophomore efforts "Eli Stone," "Pushing Daisies" and "Dirty Sexy Money."
The news, confirmed by both network and studio sources this afternoon, means that the trio will see their respective seasons capped at 13 episodes.
All three series posted season lows among adults 18-49 (1.8 rating each) this week.
"Stone" has eight installments yet to air while "Daisies" and "Money" have seven each. It's believed all three will finish out their runs in January, however air dates beyond the week of December 8-14 have yet to be confirmed.
Both "Daisies" and "Money" were not among the series featured in the midseason schedules making the rounds in the advertising community this week (read the story), making the decision not much of a surprise.
"Stone" conversely seemed to be in the running to stay put on Tuesdays, not to mention received an order for four additional scripts last month (read the story).
[UPDATED 4:46 PM] As for what will replace the series, an ABC source has confirmed the network will unveil its midseason schedule in a release tomorrow.
