LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has ordered four additional episodes of "Life on Mars," network sources confirmed to the site this afternoon.
In addition, "Mars" will take up residence after "Lost" on Wednesday nights starting January 28.
The news comes on the heels of today's announcement that "Eli Stone," "Pushing Daisies" and "Dirty Sexy Money" didn't make the cut for full seasons (read the story).
As previously reported, ABC is set to unveil its midseason schedule in a release tomorrow.
"Mars" has averaged a 2.9 rating among adults 18-49 in its past two airings, its best numbers since its October 9 premiere (3.8 rating).
