New York, NY (November 21, 2008) � MTV gives viewers twice the fun, twice the jealousy and twice the drama when the new season of "A Shot at Love" returns with a new twist -- featuring bisexual twin sisters Rikki and Vikki, known as the "Ikki Twins" -- beginning December 9 at 10pm ET/PT. "A Double Shot at Love" rounds up a group of suitors -- both straight guys and lesbians -- to vie for each twin's affections, while testing the traditional rules of attraction. The first two seasons of "A Shot at Love" featured Internet sensation Tila Tequila.

Going where no dating show has gone before, "A Double Shot at Love" is a reality-competition series that pits men against women in a number of romantic challenges in an effort to win the heart of the woman of their dreams, only this season there's a spin. When the men and woman arrive, they are pleasantly surprised to find that the woman they are fighting for is actually gorgeous twin sisters. All living under one roof, the 12 straight men and 12 lesbians are narrowed down each week in a dramatic elimination ceremony. And with both Rikki and Vikki to vie for, there will be twice the chances to find love!

Born in Pennsylvania, Rikki is the older twin, followed two minutes later by her identical twin sister Vikki. Inseparable since birth, they lived in nine states before moving to California to attend San Diego State University. It was during college that their modeling careers took off as they started hosting parties for a living and were later featured on billboards and in numerous calendars and advertisements across the country. Their first break came from a modeling gig for Bench Warmer Cards, which led to them landing on the covers of Import Turner and Fast & Sexy, two major magazines for car enthusiasts. With their increasing popularity, in 2005 Rikki & Vikki were asked to model for the Sexy Corvettes Calendar and heated up cities across the world on the Hot Import Night Tour. With offers rolling in, the twins' were invited to compete in Steve Harvey's Big Time Challenge, followed by a feature in Import Tuner's �Sexiest Women Ever' special collection issue, garnering them even more calendar and magazine covers.

The second season of "A Shot at Love" ranked #1 in its time period (Tue 10-11p) among P12-34 versus all cable competition and reached over 80 million total viewers (P2+), with over 37 million from the P12-34 core demographic.

"A Double Shot at Love" is produced by 495 Productions. Sally Ann Salsano and Scott Jeffress serve as executive producers. Liz Gateley, Aaron Meyerson, and Maitee Cueva are the executives in charge of production for MTV.
