Eleventh Gets Five More from CBS

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- CBS has ordered five additional episodes of its freshman drama "Eleventh Hour," network sources confirmed this afternoon.

Said commitment brings its season total to 18 installments. "Hour" is currently averaging 11.98 million viewers each week, making it this season's second most-watched new series (behind the Eye's own "The Mentalist" at 16.61 million).

Nevertheless, "Hour" retains a modest 57% of lead-in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's" overall audience (21.00 million) and the same among adults 18-49 (a 3.1 rating vs. a 5.4 rating).

Paul Buccieri, Mick Davis, Danny Cannon, Ethan Reiff, Cyrus Voris, Jonathan Littman and Jerry Bruckheimer are the executive producers of the series, which comes from Jerry Bruckheimer Television, Granada America and Warner Bros. Television.
