The 37th Annual Broadcast Will Air December 31st on ABC and Will Feature Performances by Natasha Bedingfield, Fall Out Boy, Jesse McCartney, Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, Solange and Robin Thicke, with Fergie Serving as West Coast Host

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2009" will feature performances from Hollywood by Natasha Bedingfield, Fall Out Boy, Jesse McCartney, Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, Solange and Robin Thicke. Fergie will host the Hollywood segments, which will air on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 on the ABC Television Network. The special event will be hosted in New York by Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest starting at 10:00 p.m., ET and PT, and will include three and a half hours of special performances and reports on New Year's celebrations from around the globe.

Larry Klein, producer of the specials, noted: "The time honored tradition of New Year's Eve with Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest is a much anticipated event. Our Hollywood lineup includes some of the best acts around and will usher in 2009 for millions of people's holiday celebrations."

Natasha Bedingfield has sold more than 10 million singles and albums worldwide and has five top 10 U.K. singles. Her 2006 U.S. debut single, "These Words," went to # 1. Later that year, "Unwritten" became the most played song on mainstream American radio, and now Natasha's success continues with her album Pocketful of Sunshine, which has spawned hits with the title song and "Love Like This."

Hailing from Chicago, the multi-platinum band Fall Out Boy has built up a loyal following through relentless touring, having performed over 1200 shows since their inception in 2000. The band's 2007 release, Infinity on High, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was the follow-up to From Under the Cork Tree, which spent 72 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Their new release, Folie Deux, comes out December 16.

Multi-platinum recording artist Jesse McCartney released his third CD, Departure, this year and celebrated his first # 1 single, "Leavin'." Recently featured in People Magazine's "Sexiest Man" issue, Jesse kicks off a mini-concert tour December 3 in Sacramento.

In September, Ne-Yo released his 3rd # 1 album, Year of the Gentleman, which spawned the #1 singles "Closer" and "Miss Independent." The Grammy Award winner, responsible for the chart-topping singles "Irreplaceable" (Beyonc) and "Unfaithful" (Rihanna), has most recently worked with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Celine Dion.

The Pussycat Dolls have stormed the music world since their arrival on the pop scene three years ago. They've made their mark with smash hits like "Don't Cha," "When I Grow Up" and "Buttons." Their current album, Doll Domination, has already sold more than 2 million copies internationally.

Solange started her career touring the world as a 13-year-old dancer for Destiny's Child. When she began her singing career she mixed the musical styles she experienced internationally with what she loved from America, the sounds of the 60s and 70s. Her influences from that era range from Shuggie Otis, The Supremes and The Marvelettes to Dusty Springfield, Marvin Gaye and Minnie Riperton. Her sophomore album, Sol-AngeL and the Hadley St. Dreams, landed in the top 10 of the Billboard charts upon release.

Grammy winner Robin Thicke's breakthrough album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke, was a platinum hit. He recently released his third album, Something Else, which debuted at #3 on the charts and gave Robin another hit single in "Magic." He has just completed a tour with Mary J. Blige and continues to work in the studio, where one of his latest projects is producing a track for Jennifer Hudson's new album.

Multi-platinum, three-time Grammy award-winning international superstar Fergie, who joined The Black Eyed Peas in 2002, released her solo debut, The Dutchess, in 2006. The Dutchess, which spent an astounding 94 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums, sold over 6 million copies worldwide and achieved triple-platinum status in the United States. The success of the album was propelled by the hit singles "London Bridge," "Fergalicious" (#1), "Glamorous" (#1), "Big Girls Don't Cry" (#1), "Clumsy (#2)" and "Finally." Fergie was the first artist in over six years to score three #1s from one album.

The specials are presentations of dick clark productions, inc. with Dick Clark, Ryan Seacrest and Orly Adelson serving as executive producers.
