CMT CROWNS THE "CELEBRITY ALL-STAR WRESTLING CHAMPION" IN THE HEART-POUNDING FINALE OF "HULK HOGAN'S CELEBRITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING" PREMIERING SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6 AT 8PM ET/PT
After Seven Intense Weeks Training, Only One Out of Ten Celebrity Wrestling Hopefuls Rises Above the Rest and Wins the First Ever CCW Championship Belt
LOS ANGELES December 2, 2008 The competition began with 10 daring celebrity hopefuls who were given the opportunity of a lifetime to fulfill their fantasies of becoming professional wrestlers. Every week the contestant who wasn't able to prove him or her self in the ring was deemed a "Jabroni" by Hulk Hogan and knocked out of the competition. Now Dustin Diamond from "Saved by the Bell," actor Todd Bridges from "Diff'rent Strokes," former NBA champion Dennis Rodman and Super Heavyweight boxer ButterBean are the final four contestants left in the ring. Coaches and former professional wrestlers Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and Brian "Nasty Boy" Knobs give the remaining contestants some final advice and the push they need to leave victorious. Everyone wants to make history and be the first ever "Celebrity All-Star Wrestling Champion," but this time around it's every man for himself and only one can take home the title and the CCW belt in the most anticipated main event to date. The finale of HULK HOGAN'S CELEBRITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING premieres Saturday, December 6 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT.
The celebrity contestants endured eight grueling weeks of training and faced various team challenges and elimination matches. They were put to the test both physically and emotionally, as both the competition and tensions continued to rise each week. They've done it allhardcore matches, triple threat matches, grudge matchesbut this most intense match yet will separate the men from the boys. There may even be a few returning Jabronis that want to settle some scores. The fight for the belt reaches an all time high as the final four step into the ring for the very last time. In the end, only one man is left standing and given the title of "Celebrity All-Star Wrestling Champion."
HULK HOGAN'S CELBRITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING is developed and executive produced by Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey of Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment as well as Hulk Hogan. Melanie Moreau and Bob Kusbit are executive producers for CMT.
