HBO received 22 Golden Globe nominations, the most of any television network this year, for the upcoming 66th annual Golden Globe Awards, which were announced today in Los Angeles. In Treatment and Recount led all HBO programming and tied for the lead among all TV programming with 5 nominations apiece. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 11 in Los Angeles.

HBO's Golden Globe nominations this year include:

5 nominations for In Treatment, including Best Television Series - Drama, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama (Gabriel Byrne), 2 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Melissa George, Dianne Wiest) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Blair Underwood).

5 nominations for Recount, including Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, 2 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Kevin Spacey, Tom Wilkinson), Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Laura Dern), and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Denis Leary).

4 nominations for John Adams, including Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Laura Linney), Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Paul Giamatti), and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Tom Wilkinson).
