ENDEMOL USA PROJECTS (Various) - Reality house Endemol USA is quickly expanding its presence in the scripted arena, booking no less than six projects around town. Among the efforts: AMC's "Hell on Wheels," from Tony and Joe Gayton, a western centering on the Transcontinental Railroad's construction; FOX's "Manager/Husband," from Jim O'Doherty and David Israel (based on an idea by Andrew Gurland), a comedy (originally developed by FX) about a talent manager and his 22-year-old pop-star wife; HBO's "It's Not You, It's Me," from Vic Levin, a single-camera comedy about a young urban woman and her relationships; Comedy Central's "Joe Cartoon," an animated take on Joe Shields's web site of the same name; The CW's "Nanny Dallas," from writers Veronica Becker and Sarah Kucserka (based on an idea by Joe Livecchi), a drama about four nannies and the families they work for in Dallas; and SoapNet's "Julia's Tango," from Jill Condon based on a Netherlands format, a drama about a lawyer who moves from Boston to run a B&B in her family's native home in Buenos Aires (where it will be filmed). Endemol USA's senior VP Jeremy Gold is overseeing the projects while Warner Bros. Television is co-producing "Nanny Dallas" and Principato-Young Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Television are partners on "Manager/Husband."
