STATIONS RULE IN FAVOR OF "STREET COURT"

NEW YORK'S WPIX-TV ADDS SERIES TO DAYTIME SCHEDULE

(JANUARY 19, 2009) Litton Entertainment announced today that New York's WPIX-TV will strip STREET COURT for Fall 2009. Breaking the court show out of the courtroom, this eagerly anticipated court entry follows "Judge Mazz" (aka Michael Mazzariello), a tough-talking former Brooklyn D.A., as he summons litigants back to the scene of each dispute. Major groups already sold for the series are:

 Barrington

 Belo

 Capitol

 CBS

 Cox

 Hearst / Argyle

 Journal

 Local TV

 Mission

 Newport

 Roberts

 Sinclair

 Tribune

 Weigel

Offering a fresh twist on one of the most popular program formats on television, STREET COURT advances the courtroom genre by pairing the authority and tradition of the judge role with the authenticity and drama of real locations.
