ABC's "Samantha," FOX's "Hole" to Take a Break

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has bumped the return of "Samantha Who?" to the spring while FOX is once again sending "Hole in the Wall" to the bench.

Originally set to return on January 12, "Samantha" was subsequently bumped to January 19 and again to January 26 to accommodate expanded two-hour installments of "The Bachelor." Now it seems fans will have to wait even longer - "The Bachelor" will continue with two-hour editions for the rest of its season, ending March 2.

And with "Dancing With the Stars" set for its own expanded editions on March 9, March 16 and March 23 - the earliest you'll see "Samantha" back is March 30, barring a time period change.

Meanwhile, FOX's "Hole" is getting a two-week break after just one first-run airing on Sunday night. "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" then will assume the Sunday, 7:00/6:00c slot on January 25 (new) and February 1 (repeat).

In addition, the network will sub in repeats of "House" ("Not Cancer") and "Lie to Me" ("Moral Waiver") on Friday, January 30, in place of the aforementioned "5th Grader" and "Don't Forget the Lyrics."
