LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC is the first broadcast network to sign on to broadcast President Obama's address to the nation on Monday.
The hourlong speech will air live at 8:00/7:00c, bumping the previously announced episode of "Chuck" ("Chuck Versus the Best Friend") to February 23. ABC, CBS and FOX are also expected to carry the address however have yet to confirm the fallout to their previously announced schedules.
Obama is also set to address Congress on Tuesday, February 24 at 9:00/8:00c. NBC and ABC have already committed to carry the speech, which is also expected to fill the hour.
The Peacock will cut "The Biggest Loser" to just one hour on said date with the concluding hour airing on Wednesday, February 25 at 8:00/7:00c. ABC then will simply pre-empt back-to-back repeats of "Scrubs."
